Delete account

In the app

1. Open Garden Hero and go to Profile.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Confirm with Delete.

The app then starts again with an empty account.

What we delete

• your account, and the link with Google if you had one
• your plants, photos, reminders and ticked-off tasks
• your scans and your Plant doctor diagnoses, with their photos
• your purchased spots and diagnoses
• your first name, your memberships of shared gardens and your invites

If you share your garden, that garden also goes for the members. Plants that you added to the garden of another person stay in that garden.

This is immediate and final. You do not get purchased spots and diagnoses back. A subscription does not stop automatically: cancel it in the Play Store, under Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Without the app

You no longer have the app, and you linked your account to Google? Then email bramvanderholst@gmail.com from the email address of that Google account, and ask us to delete your account. We delete it within 30 days and email you when it is done.

An account that is not linked to Google has no name or email address. Only the app on your phone can open it. So delete it in the app before you remove the app from your phone. If you do not, we delete it automatically when the app had no contact with our server for 12 months.
